He said the only thing he didn't assume was just a reference to mental illness was when Dracula says "well, it is the new Millenium I guess", but he said he had no idea what was implied by that and was just confused

The only gender related thing my dad picked up on was that second wave vampires were "terrifying" and Duke was the most evil vampire concept he'd ever encountered

Lol it really says something that Duke's "Women should have unquestioned rule over men" is scarier to him than Vlad's "*I* should have unquestioned rule over *everyone else*"

Duke is scarier and more evil than Castlevania Dracula apparently because at least Castlevania Dracula is an aristocrat

Duke doesn't even actually *want* to turn all women into vampires and enslave all the men I mean, she says she fantasizes about it, but she's not *doing* anything about it That's one of the reasons the First Bride turns on her, she's just "living like a teenager"

That's the most obvious critique of Duke and the Bit Girls as actual "feminists", that sure they kill off a bunch of rapists but they haven't done anything to change the world In fact they themselves are another threat attractive young women have to be afraid of
