This is why "nacho cheese" was invented, and why the best nachos do not in fact use it It's *not* cheese, it's cheese mixed with milk and melted butter, so you can just pour it on the chips, which is not how nachos should actually be made

I mean... it's literally a "dish" made by heating up kitchen scraps. So long as "stuff" ends up on top of chips which are stiff enough to be lifted out as edible temporary utensils, you can't really do it wrong?

Well this is why I'm *philosophically* opposed to "nacho cheese", because it's something you either make or buy specifically for the purpose of making nachos, not an authentic result of trying to make tacos out of the scraps of taco ingredients
