Personal feelings don't determine someone's character and if they did I'd be immoral because my brain doesn't process danger as a feeling of hatred. There's a lot of ableism baked into the theory of conscience or feelings-in-your-gut determining morality.

yeah, I don't think the ~qualia~ of internal emotional experiences are really important to any of this, I am all for whatever emotions will motivate a particular person to perform particular actions and this is just not universal
