People who support Yang do it partly because he doesn't encourage mindless zombie following of party or leader. Principles matter. Do it the right way - have the legislative branch make a law.

This doesn't even make sense, the legislative branch is the least "technocratic" branch compared to the executive and especially the judiciary Legislators are regularly forced to face election and be held accountable to the will of the people
