Curious why you think a PHYSICAL treatment, eg surgery, hormones, is the best cure for what you agree is a MENTAL disorder? Children who suffer from gender dysphoria should clearly be offered treatment. But psychological treatment, not surgery/hormones. Their bodies are healthy.

Are you seriously saying that you think dysphoria - a mental dissatisfaction with one's healthy body - is best treated by major surgery on the body, causing potential infertility & loss of sexual function, and by taking untested drugs?? Rather than just dealing with the distress?

The author of the study believed the correct takeaway from it was that trans people still experience oppression and struggle after they transition, which WE ALL KNOW, and that we should work to support and protect trans people post-transition, which WE ALL AGREE WITH
