I think the only Barney parodies from memory that really “worked” were ones that weren’t so edgelordy and had a point. Like Animaniacs, which mocked its insipidness, and Dinosaurs, which parodied its over-commercialization. Both have aged far better than, say, Day of the Barney.

I was born in 2005 and all the cool kids in first grade still thought shitting on Barney was the funniest thing ever, and I’m sure kids today are still doing the same. Point is kid culture never really changes
