It's not polite to be in favor of a war based on lies, resulting in civilian deaths either. One of these are worse.

Just like Arthur's assertion that she single handedly dragged UK into the Iraq war while completing forgetting America's involvement in said lie is a fabrication of the truth aka a lie.

I never used the word "singlehanded", there were many hands It doesn't make her not responsible And, like I said, even if she bore zero responsibility and you could prove no one ever listened to her, she still took a reprehensible position

Do you really think that matters more than her making the case to Hans Blix that Saddam had WMDshttps://www.politico.eu/article/mep-hands-blix-dossier-on-sites-linked-to-weapons-development/ …

No, voting for something because you were convinced of a pack of lies is less culpable than being one of the people who wrote the pack of lies And her failing to show up to vote on a nonbinding EU resolution means very little in comparisonhttps://www.politico.eu/article/mep-hands-blix-dossier-on-sites-linked-to-weapons-development/ …

Are you seriously trying to argue that Nicholson was not in favor of the war? Because she missed a vote on a nonbinding EU resolution (and also a vote on the other two resolutions, which expressed opposition to or "skeptical" support for the invasion)?

She was one of the most consistent supporters of invasion from ten years before the invasion till ten years after She was still saying how proud she was to be pro-war while ISIS was in the middle of organizing their coup attempt in 2013https://www.libdemvoice.org/emma-nicholson-writes-was-the-war-worth-it-a-resounding-yes-from-me-33733.html …
