Yeah, but has she been in EastEnders? And, um, well that’s it isn’t it?

Emma Nicholson, a woman, bears a large portion of blame for *this* thing, yes Do you think it's feminism to argue that no woman can ever be responsible for anything at all

Lol your hypable is impressive. Do the two male leaders of that war not hold the blame? Or did she nag them to war?

She testified to the presence of WMDs in the region, in terms of the level of responsibility she's somewhere in the ballpark of Colin Powell https://newspaperarchive.com/politics-clipping-feb-04-2003-1771764/ …

Yup, it is And I never said anything was "all her fault" or that she did anything "singlehandedly" But she obviously bears responsibility for the UK entering the Iraq War, and remains proud of that facthttps://www.libdemvoice.org/emma-nicholson-writes-was-the-war-worth-it-a-resounding-yes-from-me-33733.html …

She certainly bears more blame for the UK joining the war than she bears *credit* for having stopped child trafficking (a goal that has not, in fact, been achieved) by sitting on the boards of things

Jesus Christ You'll notice these people aren't really trying to defend Nicholson's advocacy for the war as a good thing, they're just pretending it *doesn't matter* ("Oh, George W. Bush wouldn't listen to a *woman*") Well why does anything else she says matter then

Even if it were proven she had absolutely no impact whatsoever on the Blair government's decision to enter the war, that just means that on one of the pet issues she ranted about for several years she was totally irrelevant and ineffectual Still not a compliment to her
