I mean... how many modern photography classes would even teach you how to develop film It's "historical" knowledge nowhttps://twitter.com/Swordsfall1/status/1318212522261028868 …

And really that's as it should be, the fewer toxic chemicals you handle in the course of your education the better We don't talk enough about how the aesthetics of film vs. digital don't even come close to outweighing how film was an enormous environmental disaster

Looking forward to a future of electric cars where the concept of "changing your oil" or "driving stick" has also become 100% obsolete

I'm at the age where I'm surprised when people my age or older can't drive stick but not at all surprised that no one younger can do it. Do they even *sell* manual cars anymore?

I mean, a manual car costs less than an automatic and is less attractive to thieves and theoretically gets better mileage

The interesting thing is how it just doesn't apply to an electric vehicle at all though, they don't need a gearbox to step up RPMs, the RPMs of the engine are the same as the RPMs of the wheels

I'm sure you're right but you are definitely talking to the wrong person here because what I know about cars is "gas pedal go zoom"

Yeah that literally is how an electric car works whereas in order to make a gas powered car work that way they have to build an elaborate workaround
