Two women felt forced to quit their jobs during economic meltdown because of their MP's views on trans issues. They were both then publicly identified by the MP. Anyone supporting these women is being smeared by anti-trans obsessives as a misogynist. It's perverse gaslighting.https://twitter.com/LGBTLabour/status/1316419370080403457 …

Not even a deadly pandemic and economic collapse has stopped anti-trans bigots spending their lives hounding one of the most marginalised minorities on earth and anyone who dares use their platform to support trans people. It's nauseating stuff - and yes, history will be damning

You don't get out much do ya. Go wander around some and find the truly marginalized. Poor. Homeless. No Twitter. No Doctors, journalist politicians and organizations holding their marginalized hands. Or perhaps look up the word marginalized.

I may be less marginalized than a homeless person but I'm damn sure an MP is less marginalized than the staffers she abused

Ah the Great Marginalization Smackdown. I notice that many raging willies were angry that JKRowling had any right to ANY opinions, because she's 'so rich'. How come nobody ever shuts down white Male politicians with comments? Billionaires with opinions? Marginal?

I obviously think rich people have the right to opinions, and often those opinions are even correct What JK Rowling doesn't have the right to do is shut down criticism of her opinions because she's marginalized and vulnerable, because she isn't

Her opinions aren't wrong because she's rich, they're wrong on their own merits She and her defenders are the ones trying to say you can't tell her she's wrong or else you're a misogynist attacking "women" as a class

She's not wrong. I'm a Woman. Experienced misogyny for over sixty years. Most of the attacks are misogynist. I know what Men are. And aren't. I have known heaps of alternative Humans. Trans people over the years. I was as pleasant as required. They weren't. Funny that.
