To ask the candidate to respond to the Big Lie, the reporter must repeat the Big Lie and thereby bring the Big Lie one mention closer to the number needed for the Big Lie to be perceived as truth. A professional journalist would ignore the Big Lie and ask a question that matters.

This is literally the playbook Bannon has openly discussed using to launder misinformation into the public consciousness.

Hunter Biden’s attorney called John Paul’s shop a few days back and asked for Hunter’s computers back. FYI. You don’t ask for someone else’s computers...you ask for your own. The emails have been authenticated and the laptop has been authenticated. You truly can't be this stupid

From what I gather he didn't "ask for the computers back", he asked for the shop's records Which is what you do when someone starts coming out accusing you of criminal activity Of course, people like you will then take you asking for proof as proof

Arthur Chu Retweeted Adam Housley
Like this guy is all smug about his receipts but he can't even find a screenshot that actually says the word "laptop" or "hard drive"https://twitter.com/adamhousley/status/1317319606126604288?s=20 …

Adam HousleyVerified account @adamhousleyHere ya go....this is the email sent to John Paul by Hunter Biden's lawyer. It is in reference to returning the laptops. Also...the attorney said Hunter dropped em off in 2017. Nope..try April 2019. He didn't even know when he left em there. Smug? Someone asked for his sources and he produced a email to verify. Blue check liberals attacking a small business owner instead of trying to find out what is true. This story doesn't have unnamed anonymous sources like liberals use.

Right, an email which didn't verify anything

Just like they don't have the real laptop, they just have an external hard drive he supposedly copied the most incriminating files on (rather than cloning the whole machine) The actual laptop conveniently now being "held by the FBI", which - gasp! - "refuses" to produce it

(It's really obvious that what actually happened was they scored a hack of Hunter's iCloud and were able to get some embarrassing photos and texts but needed to juice up the story so they made up this incredible nonsense about the broken laptop)
