LRT my hot take is that while investing in any Potter character is clearly bad, and while most of what made Snape compelling was accidental, as written he's still a far more compelling character than Harry and his moral... ughness is honestly not why people liked him

Y eahhh my understanding of that debacle in particular is a) partial and b) “absolutely wild”, to be clear, I’m just also by and large seeing the fallout in terms of current events hooks where people turn around and go “and this is JUST LIKE people who ship a thing I don’t like”
