There is an obvious reason why it should not be banned but yeah it’s absolutely indefensible as a practice in like, actual pediatric medicine

What’s the obvious reason, Justin? Is it religious people’s feelings? Because that’s not a valid excuse.

I mean... it *is* a men's rights issue, though? Like not in the "I need to be angry about men's rights because someone is talking about women's rights" way, but in a human rights, consent and torture way.

Budding pediatrician here with really strong feelings about this. But I don’t want to look like a weirdo so I rarely bring it up. Thanks a lot, weirdos who preceded me.

It's really awkward that society has decided it's normal to cut parts off babies, and weird to criticize it.

Not wrong, and I categorize it same way you've seen me talk about yonic symbolism/focus in feminist circles. The reeaally saddest thing is that the only people I've seen actually criticize penial circumcision as a practice are MRAs with other crazy stuff on top.

Yeah like... Don't slice off parts of your children? Doesn't seem like it should be too contentious?
