My absentee ballot came in the mail Since I'm in a blue county in a solidly blue state—one I'm about to functionally get priced out of, almost certainly never to return—I'm almost tempted not to vote out of pure bitterness but *sigh* I guess Westchester can profit at my expense

Yeah I mean it's not a perfect system, but every once in a while you end up with a progressive challenge to an establishment candidate and people can't use the upset narrative as an excuse
