Becoming the "interim President" between November and January only to be immediately demoted back to VP again would be a unique humiliation few other politicians can say they've endured And therefore one I'm sure Mr. Pence welcomes with the same odd enthusiasm he always does

Wasn't Pence's political career pretty much dead until he got the VP offer out of nowhere? He probably genuinely believes that God has deemed him for eventual greatness and I kind of understand why.

Actually they would have to follow the Constitutional line of Sucession. It has to be someone who has gone through the process of being elected. Pence however could pick his own VP. I would pick would pick Claudia Conway, she seems to know what the crap is going on. Ha...
