as annoying as it was for the follow-up to Endgame to be an adventure-comedy that absolutely refused to take the consequences of the Snap and Un-Snap seriously... it was probably the right call, and certainly the only way to get things back to "normal"

The five year gap was entirely unnecessary and it really dampened my enthusiasm. Cap weilding Mjolnir and Spider-Man and Black Panther got me going for the finale, but the movie as a whole was just... fine.

In unrelated news, the snapture is what broke my relationship with the MCU. A stupid move, wrapped in, like, 117 hours of unnecessary movie, which retroactively and laterally ruined basically the whole 'verse (for me)...

I would have been ok with it if they didn't seem completely uninterested in exploring the effects of the snap. I have a feeling that it will have made barely a ripple in the coming Phase.
