Like okay, cisheteropatriarchy wasnt a term I would have expected the firefighters I was volunteering with when I was volunteering as an EMT to be throwing around in daily casual conversion, but like 90% of those are pretty straightforward.

Queer tends to be preferred in more academic settings over gay or lesbian or other terms by more blue colaor/working class folks, But pretty sure rest in power isn’t going to throw anyone for a loop.

lol what...wasnt the cliche/prejudice the reverse? that the poor and uneducated are the ones constantly inventing slangs and newwords becouse they dont have an big bocavulary? (or is this a anglosaxon/spanish culture divide?)
