To me it seems like an even more fundamental error: he's assuming that "the leader of the free world" has protections the rest of us don't. Like the virus is a terrorist that the secret service can wrestle to the ground.

Which tracks with their bizarre attitude that wearing a mask is "showing fear". They're so completely sunk in a militaristic mindset that they can't conceive of a risk that comes in other forms, where the protections are completely different and don't rely on the size of your gun
