Just double checking but we're definitely not doing trick or treating this year right

Some friends of mine built a tube, and they're going to slide candy bars down it to the kids at the bottom of the stairs. If any show up, of course. If not, they've got like 6 bags of candy.

We are delivering candy down the driveway vía chute, aka a giant plastic pipe propped on a ladder and mounted in a bucket at the end.

Individual baggies for each kid set away from the house?

This is what my neighborhood is proposing. And, depending on the weather, most will be out on their porches overseeing the process with the bowl quite a distance away. If teenagers decide to storm the bowls up and down the street? So be it, it is candy.

You can keep an eye out. You can have them wait at a distance while you put out their candy. This works if there is spacing between groups - obviously some neighborhoods may be too popular for this

I don't get many kids anyway (maybe 10 or 15) so I was going to individually bag up some candy and space it out on a table along with a giant jug of hand sanitizer
