Do people realize how it sounds when they say that Donald Trump - a scion of generational wealth who's never worked a real job in his life, a New York TV celebrity who lived in a golden tower - "sounds working class" because he sounds like an asshole
-
-
Remember how his bragging about sexually assaulting dozens of women was referred to as "just locker room talk"? Because to these assholes, that's apparently the sort of thing that every "real man" talks about in the locker room.
-
I mean, I'm not exactly a jock type, but I've been in my share of locker rooms and not once did I hear *anyone* talking about their sexual conquests or anything along those lines. Most guys were just trying to get changed as quickly as possible.

Yeah, I grew up in the country exurbs of Virginia, and the taboo about certain words was completely separate and apart from the value of treating people well. It varies from place to place. Warrenton is infested with privileged assholes whereas Culpeper is nice and friendly.
-
(these county seats are about 30 miles from one another and there is basically nothing but farmland between the two, but Warrenton has horses and rich people and Culpeper... doesn't)
