HP books are cleverly constructed, built on proven lines, but not trapped in amber like most school/magic stories, with sophistication of problems faced/horror/language gradually increasing as HP/reader ages. But they never did it for me, never got phenomenon. Not my age. 1/2

I read YA by choice, as did my Dad who introduced me to joys of Jennings & a lack of shame in enjoying a good book of any genre, and am fantasy fan. HP doesn’t have proper fantasy integrity: everything is borrowed. Good luck to hitting the crest of a wave, I say unbegrudging. 2/-
