Bit would be sooooo much better if it wasn’t 80% my edit. Producers were so terrified of making Laurel unlikeablw and gutted a major element. Also there’s transitional stuff (I.e. not trusting an audience to remember the beginning of the movie) that burns me. Still proud of it.

That’s really cool. For me I was cribbing from Grant Morrison’s run on Batman, trying to take every iteration of Dracula as one man’s biography, no matter how silly. I mean the character is ridiculous.

Totally. And I just wanted to bring things back to a more totemic. First principle does rn have dracula effected by the sun or wooden stakes. Rasputin’s biography wasn’t certainly an influence. But really that song just slaps.
