This kind of thing has happened in the US too -- remember when Meghan McCain all of a sudden appointed herself some kind of judge over what was or wasn't "antisemitic" for a month -- but it hasn't TAKEN OVER and DOMINATED the discourse here like it has in the UK Fucking hell
