It's not an opinion that artificial wombs would relieve a lot of needless pain and suffering, mainly of women and hence your opposition is objectively not rooted in concern for actual harm.

That's kind of the whole point, pregnancy right now is an absurdly oppressive experience for many people because of people demanding you avoid anything that could possibly harm the fetus, including a lot of stuff based on guesswork and crackpottery

Rather the opposite really, since those things are bad for the fetus, and an artificial womb would make it really easy to avoid them.

I'm honestly skeptical we're anywhere near the technology, but saying there are positive effects of gestating in an actual womb that cannot *even hypothetically* be replicated by an artificial one is something I don't think it's even in principle possible to show evidence for.
