I know of a custody case where the couple, a cis woman and trans woman, the biological parents, got divorced in significant part because of arguments growing out of the cis mom’s resentment that her wife was also nursing the baby.

This is a dicey topic for me to weigh in on but at this point I'm very comfortable saying the whole middle-class "mom culture" that reached its apex with Mumsnet's success in the UK is fundamentally right-wing, it's an extension of so-called "family values"

And the "TERF culture" in the UK to a shocking extent is just "Mumsnet culture", the Mumsnetters needing some kind of cause to rally around and enemy to demonize so they could tell themselves they were bold feminist progressive radicals
