You can not tell me, when most politicians are lawyers, when those politicians select their oversight among other lawyers, when both JDs and legal counsel are deliberately designed to be inaccessible to all but the very privileged, that the profession of law is not inherently bad

Anyway there's a lot of holes in this taxonomy, like there's all kinds of "regular lawyers" whose careers are more or less problematic than prosecutors, including the question of big-money criminal defense attorneys who protect the constitutional rights of millionaires

There's also, of course, the fact that the other traditional path to political office other than a law career is being a high-ranking commissioned officer and/or "war hero"
