It really is "having the money" that makes the difference too, not "breaking the law" People are, after all, actively breaking the law in many cases by "cheating on lockdown" but no one gives a shit

We're all so mired in capitalism that we think that anything you can afford to pay for is stuff you are, fundamentally, entitled to, and not paying for it is an act of charity or generosity or otherwise supererogatory It's being *nice*, it's not something you *have to* do
