And a lot of the easily-mocked-as-unnecessary inventions actually have a reasonable use as an assistive device for some disability or another. THIS one, though? Not that I can see.

I mean it's original purpose is a reasonable use, if you can actually insert it. It prevents heaps of rubbish. But as an ice-cream cone holder, not so much.

It also produces less direct litter than these little plastic cups. (Disclaimer: Although that's usually my reason to go for cones, I am aware that they're simply not an option for everyone for various reasons, and all of those reasons are valid.)
