I mean, I thought Flood was gonna defend the book but everything she writes legitimately makes it sound even worse than that one telegraph review made it sound Funny, really "Is all this terribly transphobic? Well yes, yes it is. But journalistic integrity!"

It's strange, I think in a government context everyone at the Guardian would recognize what they're doing. It's normalizing, that response that fascists live for.
