Oh the burdens of fame. I felt badly for the kid, not the guy who, without fans like that kid, would have been nothing.

Honestly, no The transaction between you and the fans behind and ends with them buying the ticket and seeing the show Nobody is required to be on the job 24/7 just because they made a lot of money on that job, especially not a disabled performer with chronic pain

He acted like an asshole to a little boy who was a fan. Without cause or explanation. Fuck him.

You were paying attention to the part where he needed to literally have 20 drinks a day just to be able to get out of bed and stand up right

He wasn’t standing up, but I guess the principal is that if you self medicate with alcohol it’s ok to be a jerk?

I think it's a very minor example of jerkish behavior from someone who suffered a lot in life and don't see the point in trying to define him by it as you have

This is the only time I saw him so it’s what I have. Who knew so many people would defend someone being a jerk to a kid because they like a movie he was in.

I mean, it's not the movie, it's the fact that I know the story of his life and have some context

I know many people with chronic pain who aren’t rude to children. Oh it’s ok because he was an alcoholic? Sure thing.

I didn't say it was okay or good, I said it was minor I never said I was writing any celebrities a pass to knock people over every day either

I mean in Andre the Giant's case he's dead, any social benefit to calling him out for being a jerk is pretty much gone
