I think it's a very minor example of jerkish behavior from someone who suffered a lot in life and don't see the point in trying to define him by it as you have
The story being, he was at a con once (much more recently than my story) and he and his wife were carrying a bunch of cosplay stuff and she apparently slammed into his wife not looking where she was going and knocked her down and didn't even look back

Now, look, I have no idea if this happened But if it did happen, yes, that's a shitty thing to do, I'm not saying it's okay for a celebrity or anyone to knock someone over and not apologize And yet, even so, my story and their story aren't equal

My story is about a deliberate act of kindness to a stranger over a prolonged period of time (deciding she'd take time out of her evening to be kind to a fan) Their story is a story about being careless and in a hurry And yet they've obviously shared their story quite a bit
