Hey on last night's frustration, about the media that constitute trans "OwnVoices" games and why I don't want to see that replace games not touted as being "trans games by trans people" - let me share, for those of you who don't remember, why I got blocked deservedly by a game dev

Specifically, Christine Love, the creator of Analogue: A Hate Story, blocked me in 2015 for very good reasons that I would have done as well. Very good choice, Christine, I was being a dick. This is relevant bc Christine's games *could* qualify as the exception to my critiques

But she doesn't want them to, which is why I stupidly called her out. I had been out as trans for two years, I thought I'd never be able to afford any surgeries, I had no family support, so I got angry when I read that Love had responded negatively to an email from a trans fan

I do think the fact that the "trans reading" of Ladykiller in a Bind is probably the least problematic reading of it is worth talking about, though

Replying to @arthur_affect
Yeah, I guess ethically I would just feel obliged to talk about it as if I were interpreting a cis writer's work
