Did you actually read the article? It's about states' legal ability to potentially do single-payer, not a plan to pay for a Kansas plan. Try again?

Of course I read it & is why I replied to your comment. It’s just a snapshot of what’s been attempted. In failures there has also success in expanded Medicaid in some state, but first the state must really commit to backing a single payer model, before any plan. That’s my point

Dude has no plan. He's just saying words to distract from the issue that he is an abuser. We shouldn't find abuse acceptable even if we happen to agree with their stated policy goals. (In this case, extremely unrealistic ones, especially with him as the "advocate.")

I supported Warren in the Primary, but I will vote for Biden considering the alternative is the utter collapse of our democratic institutions. The same is not true about a seat in the Kansas legislature so don't conflate then.

Ur mistaken in interpreting my point as a conflation. IMO double standard is far more harmful, follows no logic & lacks any objectivity. A decision shouldn’t b based on perceived threat, level of office, etc. Single standard, applied to all despite race, wealth, education, etc.

Says the person who just mentioned grays. He blackmaileda 12-year old for nude pictures and then shared them around when she didn't give him more. He choked an ex-girlfriend. Last year. You think he belongs in public office?

What shouldn’t be a gray area is the standard we apply to people. That should be consistent. Our country has decided it is acceptable for a rapist to hold office. It is obviously a nuanced one, but that is the standard. So again, the helpful solution would be demanding therapy

Educational class on types of violence, etc. or number of ways that address a problem & prevent future occurrence. Since that’d b an actual solution we can apply to everyone rather than a inconsistently banning as punishment in a double standard system.

Okay, and since Coleman hasn't produced any evidence he's been in therapy and made no commitment to enter therapy, if you're really serious about "demanding" this from him you should be calling for him to step down until he does

The worst thing about all these excuses is how they exist entirely in the realm of the hypothetical I don't have to answer questions about how we should react to someone committed grave harms but then underwent a comprehensive program of self-improvement Because he's not
