Like, one of the things he's delusional about is that he's not that smart and he's not that slick I don't think he's doomed because, like, the world is a just place (if he had charisma or intelligence or just a lot of money he could have a long successful career)

Even at the state legislature level my impression is actual expulsion is very rare, although that's usually because legislators caught in a scandal agree to resign before expulsion to save face Coleman might be one to force the issue
