Honestly I'm super pissed there are even open movie theaters to release movies into The studios are at fault, the distributors are at fault, but how are the movie theaters themselves not the primary culpable parties here

Yeah, good points. So if you're running with no food, no drinks, and 10% capacity, you're definitely losing money. That said, it still seems like it should be ahead of bars and indoor restaurants.

So just in relative terms, it seems like something that would be openable earlier rather than later. I guess the counterpoint is that there's a lot less employment in theaters, so restaurants open first despite being riskier?
