This drove me to hours of ancestry dot com research,I have no idea if I'm related to anyone currently living but I have confirmed that the blood of people who named their kids "Jefferson Davis," and in fact the blood of men named Jefferson Davis, runs in my veins :/

Not the real Jefferson Davis, thankfully, probably, just at least two ancestors who were given that name because apparently we as a family like to name ourselves for literal losers as well as racists
