Precisely. This was, and is, the crucial principle at stake in the Kansas race, one as valid as ever & vital to uphold in everyone’e interests in a social media age: Acts undertaken in childhood shouldn’t be used to judge an adult, while *acts in adulthood* obviously should:https://twitter.com/krystalball/status/1298563809532141568 …

And this narcissist actually ran for governor when he was 17. Three years after he bullied a girl into contemplating suicide.

Isn't anyone curious why those girls' parents didn't raise bloody hell in the media when he ran for governor? Why are we only hearing about what he did to them when he's running for as much lower profile office?

When he was running for governor as a stunt it's perfectly reasonable that while they resented the attention he was getting they didn't want to add to it - and draw attention on themselves - when he was obviously going to lose and hopefully sink back into obscurity afterwards

But in BOTH cases, their parents have been strangely quiet. If it had been my daughter (and I have one), I would have raised bloody hell if her abuser had been elevated to rock star status by the media.
