in the public interest is the key words, there is still the issue of who decides what is in the public interest but that problem is older then facebook

That’s a pretty easy problem in this case, since they are an non-government organization they get to decide what their standard of public interest is. It’s freedom of association. It would be tyrannical to say they couldn’t cut ties to a candidate that was harmful to their values

It's a very broad statement but it's plenty of legal ass covering for the fact that they can, in fact, cut off whoever they want if they think you suck and will drag their name through the mud
