Yes (so he says) but that doesn’t prevent him from applying for US citizenship again, and once granted (hint: Republican dominated infrastructure right now) he’d meet the born-in-the-US requirement as a candidate for POTUS. It’s the only way Johnson can continue to fail upwards.

For the record the birthers have been now banging the drum that "natural-born citizen" means jus soli AND jus sanguinis, i.e. you have to be born on American soil to American parents, specifically to retroactively rule out people like Obama and Harris no matter what
