It's a fair point, because if there's anything clear in the vast majority of religious texts, it's that it's far more important and significant how you treat other people, than what the exact shape of the Godhead is.

And like, there are a lot of paths through mystical theology and cosmology that get you to do hateful things, and very few that really reinforce your obligation to feed the poor.

He decides that the traditional translation "the Word" is wrong and makes God out to be much more passive than he is, that a Logos is an *act*, a pattern or code of behavior, of *deeds* (prefiguring his fall based on "I want to CHANGE THE WORLD even if it's for the worse")

It's the whole philosophical thing of saying there can't be a distinction between the Logos and God, like if the Logos means all the things God has done then that IS who God is
