Just thinking about how, in Thai, it's VERY hard to misgender someone via pronouns (most of ours are ungendered). Weird that English and I guess most Romance/Latinate languages gender their pronouns so much.

The main takeaway from this, looking at Hungary - or, for that matter, China - is that not having grammatical gender really has nothing at all to do with not having the social concept of gender or not being a sexist society

oh totally, it's like people thinking religions with war goddess figures etc would be less sexist or whatever; they are not
