But you trust Frownfelter, who curtailed abortion rights. Picking and choosing principles, because when it comes down to it, this is about siding with power.

Frownfelter voted with an overwhelming Republican majority for a restriction on D&E abortions, a vote I disagree with He also voted with the Democrats against an anti-abortion constitutional amendment last year, a vote I agree with In neither case was he the deciding vote

He is not a perfect candidate by any means, but he's not a bad enough candidate to justify primarying him "by any means necessary", including putting an incompetent loose-cannon nobody with a history of abusive behavior into the seat because he says "abortion rights!" on Facebook

All voting is harm reduction and I don't see a single harm that would actually be reduced by putting Coleman in his seat You know that the Republicans would have a majority either way, right

Even in Kansas, one vote can make a difference, particularly to the actual people potentially harmed by the actions of its government. If you're not one of those people, I understand why moral preening for social media points is a higher priority.

Jesus Christ "moral preening" I'm pretty sure you don't live in Kansas either and you're not in the demographic of people typically worried about being abused or assaulted or seeing that behavior modeled by people in power

Also you really don't think character intersects with credibility on policy at all, do you? The only impression I get from Coleman is someone who shouts leftist talking points because it gets him approval from his peers and pisses off people he enjoys trolling

He could flip on a dime and go full Trumpist Qanon tomorrow, if he decides that's more amusing and gets him more attention from people he thinks are funny and cool He wouldn't be the first "socialist" 19-year-old to do that by a longshot

After all, if I take everything he says about himself at face value, that would just be the second time in his life he's had a total miraculous transformation
