For one thing, I want you to stop saying "He was 12", this is a pattern of behavior that continued *at least* between the ages of 12 and 14 -- he was 14 when he deliberately tried to drive a fellow 14-year-old to suicide

I want to be absolutely clear that because adults *excuse* children bullying (harassing) each other to death does not mean this is acceptable behavior for children. Adults do it also (harass each other into killing themselves) and it's not okay then, either.

You're making excuses for what he did. "This is the way kids act." No. Do some kids bully each other to death? Yes. But so do some adults and we don't respond to that by saying, "Well, people need to get a grasp on the fact that adults just do this!" Because that's making excuses
