Great One of the signs of an exceptional 19-year-old is that they were also exceptional at the age of 14 You want to be exceptional and treated as such, you don't get to fall back on the "everyone sucks in childhood" excuse

Yeah, this whole thing sort of bugs me because I'm a huge believer in non-punitive justice and societal forgiveness, particularly for minors, but "the brain doesn't stop maturing until 25" is only a great defence for someone *over 25.*
