The reason someone does bad things, however tragic and compelling a story it may be, is less relevant than the fact that someone with a history of doing bad things shouldn't be given more power to do them

you're mouthing off in utter ignorance, totally rank obliviousness to fact - just pronouncing on his alleged but wholly imaginary propensities. Find out the facts (readily available btw) or go fuck yourself.

"Wholly imaginary"? So you're saying the revenge porn never happened? Nor the year he spent messaging a girl telling her she was fat and ugly and should kill herself?

no, dumbass, you're pronouncing on his propensites **today**, now aren't you? Some ink has been spilled addressing this - you posted part of it, you fool - and some broadcast time, too, but you won't bother to read or insist on lying about what was said

I have absolutely zero evidence other than his own word that he's changed His strongest argument that he's a completely different person now is that nothing similar has come out about him re: his behavior in high school Doesn't fill me with confidence

That's the whole fucking point Name me one GOOD thing this asshole has done with his life, to counterbalance the many bad things, other than post a lot about supporting Medicare for All

he's 19 and poor and kicked the ass of a corrupt, corporatist incumbent in a fair election. You're positively a horrible person Jeopardy Boy

Seeking power and attention isn't in and of itself a good thing at all, it's at best a neutral thing

I’m skeptical of anyone who willingly seeks power. And especially men. And ESPECIALLY men with a history of sexual abuse.

To me it's a huge red flag that he himself admits he chose to run for office as an attention-getting lark with no expectation of winning, and he pulled a similar stunt when he was 17 trying to run for governor (only *three* years after the middle school bullying incident)

Someone who really cared about the cause would be doing stuff for the cause that didn't entail making himself the center of attention and getting his name in the papers Someone who genuinely felt *remorse* would be *avoiding* the spotlight, not seeking it

Right. To me it reads as someone with a pathological wont to abuse power. I’m looking for politicians trying to enact change. At the very least a stunt candidacy you know you’ll lose shows bad politics instincts.

If we're gonna get into psychoanalyzing this kid it seems incredibly obvious to me he's stamped out of the same mold as all the other trolls and shitposters The main thing he wants is attention, the main thing he can't deal with is being ignored
