I’m not sure you can be transphobic against people who are not trans in the context of an issue that has nothing to do with trans. The context is clear and why shouldn’t we correct for historical accuracy, especially when it has the consent of surviving family?

The "historically accurate" name to put on the book is the one the author chose to use at the time Whether it's about trans people or not, the right to decide how you present yourself to the world is a fundamental one
