I mean some kinds of easy modes should be easy to implement. For combat, massively upping the player health and dropping enemy health tends to do the trick For navigation... well, I think it's something worth working on for all devs

It's easy to just give the player so much health (or whatever the relevant resource is) that what they do doesn't actually matter and they can blow through the game by mashing buttons But you didn't really give them the same experience as someone playing on hard

yeah if your commited to making the player feel like Ellie is just scrapping by as a creepy predator, you dont want the player to invincible walk around with infinite ammo Rambo style
