There’s that one episode where Jerry tried to make Kramer reimburse him for all the food and Kramer kept drinking half a soda or eating two bites of a banana and prorating it, and if that isn’t the perfect analogy...

That's a perfect scene, because it starts with the can of soda (which is absurdly petty but still *kind* of makes sense) and then escalates to the apple with one bite taken out of it
