I... used to think this. And then I saw right wing Twitter. I think there are more people that take those things with zero irony than we want to admit, and it worries me a fair amount.

Like, I don't want games like Doom to not exist, because that shit is *hilarious*, but they expose what a bad job we make at teaching maturity by seeing who just doesn't get it. Sometimes the people making the games don't get it, and that's even worse.
