Explaining a simple route to 2+2 being 5 by talking about precision of measurements isn't delusional. It's a pretty obvious and understandable concept.

I already hate math and yet totally agree! It’s like teaching Palmer penmanship, driving a car with a clutch and a choke, or reading Latin! Let’s try to teach students skills of the present and perhaps next century?
